About VYA
Celebrating a region of possibility
The story, mission and people behind the Volta Young Achievers Awards.
Our Story
Born from regional pride
The Volta Young Achievers Awards began with a simple conviction: that the Volta Region is home to some of Ghana's most talented, driven and generous young people — and their stories deserve to be told.
What started as a modest community celebration has grown into the region's premier platform for recognising youth excellence. Each year we shine a light on the founders, creatives, scholars, athletes and advocates who make us proud to call the Volta Region home.
